Bennett in top band in new school performance measure
We are delighted to report that Bennett is in the top band of schools in the new Progress 8 achievement indicator, once again showing just how strong achievement in the school is. The Department for Education has introduced this new measurement, which allows parents to compare how well schools across England enable children to make progress, for the first time this year. The measure, called Progress 8, indicates how much progress children make from their starting points on entry into Secondary school to their GCSE outcomes. Included in the measures is a broad but demanding range of eight GCSE subjects, where mathematics, English and at least three more EBacc subjects from languages, sciences, history and geography are included.
