Bennett is in the top 10% of schools for A levels

alevel1

The school performance tables for sixth forms in England, which were published last week https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/school/136603?tab=ks5-16-to-18 show that Bennett is in the top 10% of schools overall for A level outcomes, comparing very favourably indeed with other sixth forms both nationally and locally. In other words, students improve faster from their GCSEs to their A levels in the Bennett sixth form than they do in almost all other school sixth forms. These were the outstanding A level results achieved in 2016, which we celebrated with former students at our Leavers’ event earlier in January.

Our school score of +0.21 puts us well within the top 10% of sixth forms in the country. We are, of course, delighted to be ranked so highly, but our eyes are firmly fixed on ensuring even better outcomes for students who are currently in our sixth form and indeed those who are about to join.

This has all been achieved through careful guidance, close support of individual students and the school’s unwavering commitment to the belief that all students can achieve success, if challenged and taught well.

The performance tables have a simple search procedure that allows users to compare the performance of schools right across the region and country. To make comparison of Sixth Form outcomes you simply select the ’16-18’ tab having selected the school you want to find out about and then select the A level outcomes, or indeed any of the other indicators of interest.
