One of the highest achieving schools in the country

On Tuesday 16th October the national performance tables were published for the first time in relation to the 2018 summer GCSE results. At Bennett we are again delighted to be ranked so highly in the whole country with a progress score of +0.98. This puts us well within the top 2% of schools for achievement. This also means that we are amongst the highest achieving in the local area, exceeding almost all of the Kent Grammar schools in this indicator of what progress students make in secondary school. Indeed if we look at the progress of Bennett’s girls in isolation, they have almost certainly surpassed all such local competition with a score of +1.25 and so are top of the league!

Clearly, none of this is achieved without the hard work of our students and the dedicated staff team that we have here at Bennett. We know too that parents play a pivotal part in encouraging and supporting such achievement.

As a school whilst we are of course delighted by these very strong indications of the impact of our work, we are nonetheless committed to further improvement, as we would never wish to stand still.
