This photograph is of one of the wonderful stained glass windows at Fairford Church in Gloucestershire, which I visited in February this year. These were made in 1501 and, uniquely in England, survived the Reformation fully intact. This one depicts the encounter of the three women, as told in St Mark’s Gospel, with the empty tomb and the angel’s astounding message of life: “He has risen. He is not here.”
A very joyful Easter to all students, families, staff and friends of the school.
